This is an Awesome TROMMEL! (not for the faint of heart) It is a BEAST! This is for someone who is interested in making some serious money with a really good Placer Claim!
IF THIS TROMMEL IS TO BE USED FOR PLACER GOLD RECOVERY, I WOULD MAKE A FEW RECOMMENDATIONS:
A Nugget Ring (trap) installed (welded) on the inside of the barrel with 3/4 slots cut in the bottom to allow the "small stuff" to pass on through. The lighter material flows over the ring and the heavier material (Gold) will flow down to the screen to fall into the catch basin. In the catch basin, a sand screw auger pushes the concentrates out through a slurry pump. The rest is up to you, how to handle the 3/4 minus concentrates.
I would suggest a 4 Jig setup. Then introduce a fresh water source running through sluice boxes with a knudsen bowl at the end for the FINES. This was my plan and I still may put this system into service, yet.
Which brings me to another alternative, to interested persons. I may consider a part cash/trade for something of equal value. I like the Barter system, no TAXES (that's all that money you give to the government to waste)! I believe in Creativeness, so what 'cha got? ( Sorry, no ex-wives or girl friends)
I may consider a joint venture partnership with someone with a proven Placer
claim. This TROMMEL is not for the weekend panner, so please, if your
serious, be serious, NO B.S.er's, you'll wind up in the TROMMEL!
